What does “Edenkist” mean?

Our products are made with a kiss of nature and love, and that’s how we created our name, Edenkist. “Eden” is a reference to the Garden of Eden, the first and original place of untouched nature and beauty,
and “kist” is a play on the word “kissed.” Since our products are completely natural, merging these two ideas birthed our unique company name.

Why are your skincare products housed in ultraviolet glass bottles?
Edenkist skincare products are made with top quality natural ingredients fresh from the farm. Our violet glass maintains the freshness and potency of our skincare formulas by filtering out the deteriorating effects of visible light but allowing UVA and infrared light in, which increases the shelf life of our products. And they are 100% recyclable, too.
Why are your skincare products priced higher than other skincare products on the market?
Edenkist believes in quality, honesty, and purity, so we do not sacrifice any of these qualities in our creation and production process. Our pricing reflects the quality, potency and exclusivity of our products. At Edenkist, we believe the values we hold dear and the way we conduct business say a lot about our company. We believe in paying our dedicated team members and partners fair compensation. We do not believe in limiting ourselves to sourcing from only one geographical region. Rather, we source from different geographical regions to develop a product that is in line with our values and standards. We appreciate the labor that goes into small batch, handcrafted products. Are Edenkist skincare products animal tested?
No, we do not test our products on animals. We are animal lovers.
Do your formulas include sunscreen protection?
The ingredients in our products help to prevent and heal skin damage caused by environmental stressors. However, our ingredients are not designed to screen out harmful sun rays, even though some of our ingredients, like avocado oil, naturally offer SPF protection.
May I sample your skincare products before making a purchase?
While we do not provide samples before you make a purchase, we do include free samples with each order.
What should I do if I react to your skincare products?
Please make sure you read the ingredient list first to see if you are allergic or sensitive to any of our ingredients. We recommend that you do a patch test on a small area of your skin before normal use of the product, and discontinue use if you have an adverse reaction. It is not unusual to experience a slight reaction when you start to use natural products because your body is detoxing. But if symptoms persist, discontinue use and see your dermatologist or healthcare professional.
Do your skincare products help problematic skin?
Yes. You can use our skincare products on oily, or acne-prone or blemished skin.
I noticed “hydrosol” and “flower water” listed as ingredients in a couple of products. Aren’t those ingredients water?
No. True hydrosols or true floral/flower water is derived from a plant distillation process that forms steam, which is different from pure water. Some people use the words hydrosol and floral/flower water synonymously to describe true hydrosol and true floral/flower water, while others believe the terms refer to essential oils added to water by using some type of solvent and adding synthetic fragrance to mimic the scent of the natural plant. But not all of a plant’s benefits are captured in its essential oil. True hydrosol or true floral/flower water contains the substance of everything that was in the plant while it was growing.
How do your products stay uncontaminated without chemical preservatives?
Products that contain water need preservatives to protect from microorganisms and waterborne bacteria, mold, fungi and yeast, all of which can contaminate products. Therefore, we make every effort to formulate our products without water (aqua) to give you safe and effective skincare products. Some of our products may contain hydrosol (called floral/flower water by some people), which derives from a plant distillation process that forms steam, which is different from pure water. We also use special plant preservatives to keep our products safe.
What is the shelf life of your skincare products?
We package our skincare products in European Miron ultraviolet glass to extend shelf life and retain the energy of our formulas. Although our skincare products are formulated with unique special plant preservatives to prolong efficacy for up to two years, we recommend using our products within 12 months.
Do your skincare products contain any harmful ingredients?
Edenkist skincare products are formulated free from all known harmful ingredients, including Polyethylene (PEG), Phthalates, Propylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Mineral Oil (Petroleum by-product), Sodium Lauryl Sulfates, Sodium Laureth Sulfates, Siloxanes, Triclosan, Parabens (Methyl, Butyl, Ethyl, Propyl), Diethanolamine (DEA), Monoethanolamine and Triethanolamine (TEA).
Are your skincare products completely natural?
Yes. The beauty of Edenkist skincare products is in our premium natural ingredients. We use 100% natural, organic or wildcrafted ingredients.
Are your skincare products effective?
Yes, we stand behind the effectiveness of our skincare products. Just as plants have been effective for healing since the beginning of time, our products possess effective, healing properties. Our products are not watered down; each one is packed with tested plant actives to deeply deliver a concentrated amount of plant vitamins and minerals into the skin. With regular use, our skincare formulas produce results.
How are Edenkist products different from other skincare products?
Edenkist skincare products are made exclusively for people who want to enjoy the gift of a unique, high-quality skincare product that not only benefits them physically but also enhances their emotional well-being. Our products reflect our commitment to encouraging and uplifting our customers and making them feel unique, valued and loved. We make all of our products in small batches with premium, natural ingredients. Unlike most skincare products, our formulas are not watered down or filled with toxic, harsh preservatives and unnecessary fillers. Some skincare companies water down their products to cut costs so they can mass-produce in high quantities and ultimately offer their products to you at a lower price. But here at Edenkist, our products contain powerful healing botanical actives that we’ve chosen strategically for efficacy. We use only the finest ingredients to create high-quality products that will give you or your loved one a truly luxurious skincare experience. We package our products in Miron Glass, which is an ultraviolet glass container. Miron Glass is the finest of its kind and is highly valuable because it extends the shelf life of our products. Sure, there are less costly packaging options out there, but those options do not offer the important protective qualities our products’ natural ingredients need to remain potent and deliver an incomparable skincare experience.

Skincare Concerns

I’ve noticed some sagging and crow’s feet around my eyes. Is it too late to do something about this?
It’s normal to see crow’s feet and sagging skin around the eyes as you age. Should I use the same soap for my face and my body?
There are differences between the skin on your face and the rest of your body, so we recommend using products to address your skin’s specific needs. Our Adam Men’s Dual-Function Shaving Bar cleanses your face and also preps and protects skin for a clean shave. And for an all-in-one shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, try our Paladin Men’s All-in-One Shower Bar.
I don’t like the way regular soap makes my face feel. What do you recommend?
Regular body soaps and cleansers can strip away too much oil and moisture from men’s skin. Our Adam Men’s Dual-Function Shaving Bar cleanses away grease, oil and dirt, leaving skin smooth and refreshed. It’s made with highly nourishing and hydrating ingredients like cocoa butter, coconut, sunflower, and avocado oil.
My skin gets irritated after I shave. What can I use to experience less irritation?
Try our Nikao Men’s Multi-Action Beard Oil. Apply it before you shave to condition whiskers and protect your skin from potential irritation. Also try our Adam Men’s Dual-Function Shaving Bar, which is an alternative to traditional shaving cream that preps and protects skin for a clean shave.
I have dry skin. What product should I use to make my skin less dry?
A deep moisturizer can improve dry skin. Our Nikao Men’s Multi-Action Beard Oil is not only a facial oil cleanser and beard oil but also works as a night moisturizer for dry skin. For maximum absorption, we recommend applying it after evening showering or facial cleansing.
I want to use a moisturizer, but I have oily skin and acne. What product should I use to reduce oiliness?
Try a lightweight moisturizer that will nourish your skin without making you oilier. Our Adonis Men’s Youth-Preserving Face Gel contains Neroli oil, which helps balance skin and prevents oiliness and breakouts.

Orders & Payments

What if I change my mind after I’ve already placed my order? Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes. Customer satisfaction is important to us. You may request a change or cancellation before your order is shipped or hand delivered.
When will I get charged for my order?
Once we process your order, we will charge your form of payment (credit card, debit card or PayPal).
Which payment types do you accept?
We accept payments by major credit cards, debit cards and PayPal. All payments must be processed through our website checkout page. Sorry, but we do not accept checks, cash or cash-on-delivery for hand-delivered orders.
Do you charge sales tax?
Yes. Tax is based on our local tax laws.
How will I know if my order was accepted and processed successfully?

When you order online, you will receive an order receipt. This receipt, which you will receive via email, is your order confirmation. If you do not receive an order receipt, there may have been a problem processing your order. First, check your spam or promotions email folders to see if your receipt is there.

If you do not receive a receipt, please retry your order or contact us to ensure that your order went through.

How do I place an order?
You may place an order online at any time. We warmly invite you to peruse our gift collections, click on any items of interest and go through the checkout process. If you prefer to order by phone, please call us. If you do not reach one of our Customer Care Advisors, we may be assisting other customers, we may be on lunch break, or you may be calling after-hours. Please feel free to leave your order on our voicemail system, and we will return your call the next business day to confirm your order.

Gift Orders, Gift Cards & My Gift Rewards

What is My Birthday Gift?
My Birthday Gift is a complimentary gift we give to our valued customers on their birthday.
What are My Gift Rewards?
My Gift Rewards are points you earn when you order any of our products, connect with us on social media, create an account, refer a friend, or write a review. You may redeem those points within a 12-month period. Points expire and do not extend beyond the 12-month period. To start earning rewards, be sure to create an Account at checkout. You’ll earn one point for each dollar you spend, and once you reach 100 points ($5), you can redeem your points and apply them to your order.
Do you offer gift cards or gift certificates?
Yes. Just click on the Gift Card, select the amount, fill in the information, click “Add to Cart,” and we will email the recipient their gift card. You can also download or print an image of the gift card and give it to your recipient directly if you wish. Please be advised that gift cards are nonrefundable.
Can I leave a gift message for the recipient?
Yes; it’s easy. At checkout, enter your message in the Gift Message Box.
If I want to send a gift on a particular date, how far in advance can I place my gift order?
You may place your gift order online at any time. Under Delivery Date, click on “Choose a Date” and select the year, month, and day you’d like us to deliver your gift. Please note that same-day hand delivery order must be placed before 12 PM local time (PST). You may also call us during our business hours.

What happens if my package is undeliverable?

Unsuccessful delivery of shipped packages due to refusal or an incorrect address provided to Edenkist will be returned to our facility and the payment form used during checkout will incur a fee of $10.

If your hand-delivered gift to the recipient fails delivery due to an incorrect address provided to Edenkist, a $10 rerouting fee will be charged to your payment form used at checkout.

What if I need to change my shipping address after I placed my order?
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change the delivery address for your order.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Orders arriving by USPS First Class and Priority Mail will be delivered to most addresses within 1-3 days. For more remote areas, delivery may take 3 business days. Delivery to Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico may take 2-5 business days.

How do you ship my order?
We offer complimentary shipping via United States Postal Service (USPS) First Class Mail or USPS Priority Mail. If you need faster delivery, we will ship by FedEx Express Mail at actual cost. Please contact us to request expedited shipping.
How long will it take before my order is shipped?
We will process online orders for mail delivery within 1-2 business days. All hand-delivery orders placed before 12 PM on the same day will be processed and delivered on the same day. Orders placed well in advance for a specified date will be processed promptly to ensure delivery by the requested date. Please note that processing time is different from shipping time. After your order is processed (1-2 business days), then it is shipped out. Please refer to our Shipping and Delivery policy for further details.
