Shipping & Delivery Policy

Order Confirmation & Processing

After placing your order online or by phone, you will receive an order receipt. This receipt, which you will receive via e-mail, is your order confirmation.

If you do not receive an order confirmation e-mail, there may have been an issue processing your order. First, please confirm that you provided the correct e-mail address when you placed your order, then check your spam or promotions e-mail folders to see if your receipt is there. Please note that there may be a slight delay in e-mail delivery, particularly around the holidays.

If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, please contact us to ensure that we received your order before attempting to input it again to avoid creating a duplicate shipment.

Processing Time

We will process online orders for mail delivery within 1-2 business days. All local hand-delivery orders placed before 12 PM (Pacific) will be processed and delivered (within a 10-mile radius of Brea, CA) on the same day.

Orders placed well in advance for a specified date will be processed promptly to ensure shipment and delivery by the requested date. Orders scheduled for local hand-delivery on a specific date will be processed promptly to meet the customer’s delivery date request.

Please note that processing time is different from shipping time for all orders except local hand-deliveries. After your order is processed (1-2 business days), then it is shipped out.

Domestic Shipping

All of our products ship from our facility in Brea, California, United States. We currently ship orders to customers within the United States only. Sorry, but we do not ship to Canada or internationally at this time.

Free Shipping

At Edenkist, we offer complimentary shipping on all of our products via United States Postal Service (USPS) First Class Mail or USPS Priority Mail. Once your order is ready to be shipped, you will receive an e-mail notification of your shipment and tracking number. Depending on your delivery location, the estimated shipping time ranges from 1-5 business days after the order is processed and shipped out.

Our average delivery times are as follows:

  • Delivery within the 48 contiguous states: 1-3 days after processing
  • Delivery time to Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico may take longer: 2-5 days after processing

During holiday seasons, our delivery times may be longer.

Expedited Shipping

We are happy to fulfill expedited shipping requests via FedEx Express Mail at actual cost. Please contact us to request expedited shipping, and we will provide you with the express shipping quote.

Local Hand-delivery

Edenkist offers free local hand-delivery in the City of Brea, California and within a 10-mile radius of Brea. We will do our best to accommodate local hand-delivery requests.

Local Hand-delivery Delays/Non-delivery

On occasion, there are delivery delays due to circumstances outside of our control, such as weather conditions, acts of God, traffic conditions or inaccessibility to the delivery address. In the event of a delivery delay, we will notify both the sender and the recipient, and we will reschedule delivery for the next day.

Delivery Communication with Gift Recipients

We will only contact your gift recipient if they are unavailable to receive the delivery and no one else is available to accept the gift on their behalf. In such cases, we will contact the recipient to let them know of the delivery attempt and reschedule delivery. If we cannot reach the recipient, we will attempt redelivery the following day. We do not contact the gift recipient before delivery. We recommend that you send your gift on a date and to a location where you know the recipient will be available or someone else will be available to receive the gift.

Deliveries to Residences

Edenkist does not leave gift orders with neighbors unless instructed to do so. If you would like us to leave your gift order with a neighbor if your recipient is not home, please indicate your request in the Order Notes box at checkout. Please provide the name and address of the neighbor to ensure proper delivery.

Deliveries to Businesses

If you requested delivery of a gift order at a place of business and the recipient is not available, we will leave the gift order at the front desk or with the office’s security personnel.

Non-delivery Locations

We do not deliver to trains, post office boxes, or hospital Intensive Care Units (ICU) or Critical Care Units (CCU).

Weekend Delivery

We’re sorry, but we do not offer local hand-delivery on weekends. Please request a Monday-Friday delivery day, excluding holidays.

Local Holiday Gift Delivery

We do not guarantee deliveries for specific dates and times, especially during the busy holidays. We will try our hardest to accommodate your request. We recommend that you place your order at least one week in advance to increase the likelihood of your gift delivery on a specific date. During busy holidays, your gift may not necessarily be delivered on the actual holiday, but we will deliver it on an alternate day during the week of the holiday.

Delivery Confirmation/Requesting Delivery Signature

If you have concerns about package delivery, we recommend that during the checkout process, you should indicate in the Order Notes box that a signature is required at delivery. Please note that once we confirm that your order has been delivered, Edenkist assumes no responsibility for your package.

Delivery Delays

Shipment time is not guaranteed. Due to factors outside of our control, such as weather conditions, acts of God and emergencies, the estimated USPS delivery time may extend past the original delivery date. If you do not receive your order within the estimated delivery time, please check your tracking number or contact your local post office to check the status of your delivery.

Undeliverable Packages & Incorrect Address

If you provide an incorrect address to Edenkist and the delivery of your order is unsuccessful or refused, the package will be returned to our facility, and you will incur a fee of $10 which will be charged to the form of payment used at checkout.

For local hand-delivered gifts that cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address, a $10 re-routing fee will be charged to the form of payment used at checkout.

If you should request a refund for the undeliverable shipped package, the $10 fee will be deducted from the refund.

Damaged Products

Unfortunately, during shipment, it is possible for some products to become damaged. In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged product, Edenkist will re-deliver a replacement product to you at no cost. If you receive a damaged product, please contact us at customercare@edenkist.com or call us directly at (714) 477-0624, Monday-Friday, 10 AM to 5 PM (excluding holidays) to request a replacement product.

Local Hand-Delivery Status

Once we hand-deliver your order, you will receive a delivery confirmation via email. To get up-to-date information on the status of local hand-delivered orders, please log in to your Account or contact us.

Returns & Exchanges Policy

Returns & Refunds

We want our customers to be satisfied, so we offer free, easy returns and refunds. If at any time you are unhappy with your order, please contact us with your order number within 30 days of receiving the product(s) and we will arrange to make things right for you. You may return the product(s) for an exchange, store credit or full refund.

After Edenkist receives your package, please allow up to 14 business days to process your return, and please allow one to two billing cycles for refunds to appear in your account.

Edenkist Gift Cards are not eligible for refunds.

Exchanges

Customer satisfaction is of utmost importance to us, so we will gladly exchange your order for another product. To exchange a product, please contact us with your order number within 30 days of receipt of your order to notify us of your exchange request, then follow the instructions below to return your original order to us.

How to Make a Return or Exchange

To begin processing your return or exchange, please contact us with your order number. We will then e-mail you a return number and a pre-paid return label with instructions.
